The Process • Making Jewelry

Wax Work

Carving and sculpting the wax block to a model until getting the desired look.
Lost Wax Cast
Lost wax cast is a process used in metal casting that consists of making a wax model,
coating it with plaster mold, heating until the wax melts and runs out of the mold,
and then pouring metal into the vacant mold.
Casted Silver
Cleaning and Polishing
Refining the surface using different grit file and sandpaper.
The process of making jewelry is different for each piece. It takes patience to go through different stages of production to get to the final,
polished look of the piece. I find it therapeutic as I'm able to focus on each of the stages of creating my work.
