Gestures of Holding, 2026
Gesture of Holding is a study in the quiet structures that support, carry, and persist — long after the visible beauty has fallen away. Each piece begins in an encounter with botanical matter: a calyx found on a London street, a seed pod barely hanging on, a tendril reaching toward something not yet there. Working through molding, casting, and hand-carving in wax, Aeri Go translates these forms into sterling silver — allowing the trace of the plant and the trace of the maker's hand to remain visible in the final object. Worn close to the body or placed quietly in space, these pieces invite a moment of stillness — a reason to look more closely at the world that holds us.
